Our History

The Gilpin GOP has a proud history of serving our county - promoting and protecting the conservative values that define our community: freedom, integrity, and personal responsibility.

Our Vision

To recruit, develop, and support qualified Republican candidates for local, state, and federal office - leaders who uphold the Constitution, defend our freedoms, support law and order, and serve the people they represent with integrity.

Guiding Purpose of the GCRC

The Gilpin County Republican Central Committee serves as the official governing body of the Republican Party within Gilpin County. Its purpose is to support Republican values, strengthen local civic engagement, and ensure transparent participation in the electoral process. The Committee organizes precinct caucuses, conducts the biennial organizational meeting, manages county assemblies, and coordinates with state and national Republican leadership.

Our work includes recruiting and supporting qualified Republican candidates, maintaining procedural integrity at all official meetings, and providing a reliable structure for grassroots involvement at the county level.

For those who want to review the guiding framework that defines our structure, responsibilities, and operating procedures, the full bylaws are available below.

Our Members

Gilpin County Republicans were out in force to clean Hwy 46 of all trash in September.

As you drive up or down Hwy 46, notice how pristine the highway is looking these days!
